yea but how often does someone get to the river here with AQ/AJ without raising any street? Plus a lot of decent players would only defend A5s, so thats like 1/4 of the total combinations for that hand...

You just can't be good here.

these were my exact original thoughts. I don't care if a5 is the only hand that 'really' makes sense that beats you- your jsut almost never ever good here.

but then I thought about heros bet size from villains perspective- ansky do you think its possible villain makes a move with KQ/KJ or whatever here? reading heros bet size on riv as Ax and trying to push him off it? it seems like a definite possibility, albeit remote. Maybe its just a poor justification in the arguement for calling but it does seem to have some merit.

neways still feels like a fold but if i realize i played myself into that spot I prob call

How often do you see people knowingly try to push people off of trip aces?

and youre saying that the average decent 5/10 player doesnt ever go for the river cr bluff here? What if they read HSNL?

i mean, if it's vs me you should call... but if you don't have a real specific read on the player i wouldnt call.

A5 or bluff seriously most of the time... that said, usually A5. But yes, bet more on every street (for value, duh, not just to prevetn bluff check-raises)

he said he was LAG. ive seen ppl impulsively make this type of play b4, and considering jackals betting it seems possible. not very likely, but enough to consider IMO.

OP i guess you called- results?
