Default NL Cash Games (Book Recommendations)

I have conducted a search but could not find any good recommendations regarding books about NL cash games. Can anyone offer and suggestions?

im in the same boat man, i posted the same question last week and all i got was crickets

In the meantime, have you read King Yao's, "Weighing The Odds In Hold'Em Poker"? This guy is VERY thorough on probability calculations, it helped me alot. Even though it's on limit, it helped me enourmously on my flop to river play.

Im currently reading Psychology of Poker. I ll let you know if i find anything

I recently conducted the same search and found many threads on the subject. What search terms did you use? Anyway, all threads and responses were in agreement that there are no books on NL cash games except Reuben/Chiaffone NLPL.

Or do you mean you found these threads, but were hoping a recomendation could be made now where none was possible before?

Note that there are some NL Tourney books that are said to be good for NL Cash like HOH 1. Retry your search using the search terms "NL" or "+No +Limit" in the subject to find them.

i liked the russell fox book... and HOH1 is excellent and fairly applicable.... little green book is good as well, but assumes good opponents (as does HOH1 generally, but fox makes no such assumption).. BTW, that gordon and harrington assume decent opponents is just my opinion.

i think miller has a no-limit book coming out in a few months. real need for a really excellent book.

i agree the search function is not good, and not sure if this one would work well... but we do have this discussion every week for sure.

Just curious... Have you actually ever used it, and are you familiar with trying different search terms, and the use of the "+" and "-" parameters? Using "-Re:" gets rid of a lot of clutter. I use Search quite a bit and have found what I was looking for almost every time.

Ditto. You just have to learn how to use it. For example, if you search on subject (which is usually better than subject and body) and just type no limit in the keyword box, it will find any subject that has the word "no" and/or the word "limit". If you put quotes around it, "no limit", then it will only find posts with that phrase in the subject.

one alternative is to use advanced google search and search this site. a great way of searching.

i find the search engine here incredibly frustrating. glad you guys have found a way to use it.

personally, i don't mind the same topics up here week after week (day after day might be a bit much).
