I'm not crazy about samsung harddrives. I'd go with WD or Seagate. Otherwise the system is pretty close to my ideal build right now (I like raptors, so I'd proabably use a raptor 150GB as my boot/OS drive and a 500-750 seagate/WD as my storage).

I would probably also get the Q6600 (core2quad) instead of the slightly faster Core2Duo. For gaming I'd definitely go with fewer faster cores, but I think for pokering it makes more sense to have more cores so you could properly multitask (even if you have to set affinity yourself).

If you want a really nice system than I definitely will second Freakin's recommendation about upgrading the the HD. I've got a a WD 10,000rpm hard drive and a Q6600 as my processor. My PT imports are lightning fast now which I think is probably largely due to the faster HD.

I don't mind going with the faster dual core though as I doubt you're really ever going to be putting all 4 cores to full use. The only reason I went with the quad is because I always have a linux virtual machine running and I wanted to allocate two cores to the VM for doing numerical calculation stuff.

WD HD would be a good idea too.
