Default FT $12 Turbo (9-Man)

Ok, my reasoning for not reraising was that the SB was fairly aggresive and would have called me with any Ace or any medium King. I was 99% sure he didn't have AA or KK, however I was worried about him calling and catching a A or K on the flop and with the the shortstack at 975t I wanted to be a little cautious on the flop so I flat called. When the flop came and he min bet which he had done just about every previous hand I could remember I felt he either had complete air or a weak holding he would call down with so I pushed. Did I play this wrong? ICM says push preflop, but I still had plenty of chips to lay down to a big bet if an Ace or King came on the flop. Any thoughts? I will post results after some discussion.

You have to push this pf. Shorty isn't short enough to where you have to "play it safe" like this and you have tons of FE and the best hand 99% of the time.

If you're worried about getting it in against A6 just fold preflop to reduce variance. This is a very, very easy pf shove.

Here is the hand as played out. I made a big mistake not pushing preflop. I definitely will not be making ths mistake again.

Calling and folding to A and K high flops is absolutely terrible against an aggressive player. If he is actually aggressive his range is way wider than Ax and Kx hands, so you're just handing him money on those boards.

yeah you missed the push pf, oh well, now you know. i'm never folding on that board, tho i don't think shoving is correct because we're losing value from hands like 44, etc. i think i make a raise to 550 or 600, shove any turn.
