Come on. Cubs wont be arrested because there is no chance the Cubs will ever make the world series or win it because they do not play a game of skill. This can be verified with reference to the most recent season.

Actually the Illinios statute includes an exception for

I no you will insist that poker is a game of skill, but you should accept that most states don't agree with you and I suspect that Illinios doesn't either.
