No the thread I am seeking is from about 2yrs ago. He lists hands to play in early position middle etc. I can't remember his name but it wasn't anything to do with Rolf Slotbbom.

There are at least six links to PLO8 starting hand shown in (I think) the last tread referenced that will appear when you search as directed. They have nothing to do with Rolf Slotboom. It's just a way to get you to links to posted starting hand suggestions.

(You have to spell Rolf's name correctly).

The post providing the most references (five) is one by someone called FC2000. But strangely, I wasn't able to find FC2000 using the search function.

I tried various other things, including using Google's search engine, but could not find the specific thread to which you refer.

Maybe someone else can find it. I just spent two hours looking. I give up. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Ok I found the post. It's called My Plo/8 starting hand selection. It was posted by Barbarian X on 01/11/06.
This is a very good thread with followup discussions. I recommend it to all plo/8 players.

When I try searching for Barbarian X or Barbarian_X, the only post that comes up in the search function is yours. (And now perhaps this one as well). I tried various possibilities without caps and without the space. I tried Google too, but the only thing I got was your post, to which I am now replying:[ QUOTE ]

I also only get your above post when I try “My Plo/8 starting hand selection” (with the quotes; without the quotes I get all posts with any of those words).

I’ll think about it some more, but at this point I’m still stumped.

I entered BarbarianX under "Username search".
Then I clicked on "Show all user's posts" and found it on page 6.

I'm unsure why google/2+2 doesn't show it correctly.
