If you had a set on the turn, do you always lead that much on the turn in position when a check raise is very possible. And if you had the flush on the turn do you always make that large of bet on the river when his boat is very possible.

Two great questions. I played a hand last night where I open potted pf and BB called. He was liberal in calling pf raises and not overly tight post flop. I potted my overpair again on a 2 fl board he called. I potted again on the turn when I set but it also fl'd. I got c/r'd AI, felt I was pot committed, called and got stacked. I've been thinking about that turn play a lot. I had no fl card.

kane, please stop answering questions in a thread when you do not answer the question. the question does not ask what he had, it asks to elaborate in detail why he played his hand the way he did. For the last couple days you have answered posts with very short shallow answers. I know what his range could be, quit answering posts just to type.

I was hoping el would have the actual hand so that he could do that. I did not want to post it this way because I thought some cards might have been off slightly

bug,

On the flop, I continuation bet a flush draw, planning to push if he raised me. On the turn, I had a flush which I recall was either second or third nut flush, so I bet. I did not think my opponent was full or had a bigger flush, so I value bet the river. As for KKF, his responses are pretty much spot on.

This is pretty straight foward.

I have either AK, a boat or a flush.

thank you for your reply. The river bet was very large to be considered a value bet.
