Ughh.. Only have about 10 hands with villain and he's 24/20 (though his isn't even really statistically relevant) Sometimes I bet flop here, sometimes I check behind. The board wasn't too drawy so I was hoping to get a little value out of villain. |

Re: KK vs A55 flop
Don't mind the flop check at all. Often gets value from bluffs and lower PPs.
Turn bet I like about $1.5. Flop check followed by weak turn bet may lead villain to think he can move you off this hand. As played fold to raise on turn. He is following up a turn c/r with a river bet pretty often. |

Re: KK vs A55 flop
I always bet the flop in these spots. If i get played back on the flop I let the hand go, if i just get called I slow down and am done with the hand.
I really don't think you can get value out of any hands that you beat, so I suggest trying to take the hand down with a pot sized bet. As played i fold the river. |

Re: KK vs A55 flop
I like the flop check, I bet 1.5 also on the turn, and give up to his c/r.

Re: KK vs A55 flop
bet more on the turn and fold to his c/r
Just going to put this out there - how bad is checking the flop AND turn? conversely if you C-bet a LOT then is c-betting this flop bad? Anyone? |

Re: KK vs A55 flop
How much is alot? Do you c-bet more than 80-85%? If you do it that much, I would say at a level where people pay attention then you most definitely HAVE to bet here. HOWEVER, at these levels most dont pay attention so unless youre up against a reg, betting on this flop is a waste.

Re: KK vs A55 flop
I think I'd call the river.
If you're c-betting most flops, then this line that you've taken looks very much like a pair that didn't like the look of that A. Your opponent is playing accordingly (what else is he c/r'ing on that 9 for?). Maaaybe he has a 5 or something goofy like A9 somehow, but I think this has a strong chance to be a bluff based on the line you've taken and you only need to win 25% of the time. (EDIT: All this is to say that I'd usually, though not always, cbet this flop.) |

Re: KK vs A55 flop
I call the river because villain's line looks like crap. Why would he check an Ace or a set twice? This looks more like some donkey that has decided your FOS. You're getting 3:1 and I think villain has complete air or maybe a random 9 at least that much.
