Default $6.5 Stars QJs button limp

I know I should probably be playing more tightly than this, but I figured a limp from the button with suited connectors and one limper already in the pot wasn't a horrible play. My postflop play though I thought was pretty bad. Could I get some comments please?

I think folding QJs on the button is an error. Limp is good.

I'd bet a bit less on the turn, maybe 200, otherwise I like it. River might be a value bet with a read, but checking behind certainly isn't too bad.

what I'm most concerned about is the flop call. It seemed like a very weak play to me, and gives me no real information about what everyone else had, but I didn't want to inflate the pot by raising it with a crappy kicker.

I agree. I think a pot sized raise on flop would have given you more info than flat calling. Obvioulsy if someone calls your hand or reraises then u need to reasses. U have top pair with a weak kicker yes but its better than the pople who are drawing and after your call will be getting better odds to do so. Pre flop call is fine with position. I also think u may be good to go for a value bet on the end (around 250). I cant see trips here as surely hed reraise turn or make a bet on the river (would he risk letting u check behind on river?) My guess is something like JTc for the BB.

This is one of my first posts and ive only been playing low limit SnG's for about 18 months so would be interested to see if anyone agrees/disagrees with any of my comments.

One guy bet 3/4 of the pot into a field and 2 ppl called. TP doesn't look so good here, I don't want to bloat the pot with it. If we raise and get called we'll put in a lot of chips with a marginal hand that may already be beaten, but the pot will be so big we will find it hard to fold.

Also, calling will close the action. Raising will reopen the action and some donk might bet you off the best hand.
