Re: 10nl Really weird flop spot
Actually quite happy i folded. First time i have properly really thought through a hand. If i am assuming someone probably has a flush here, or even a flush draw, they can take away 2 more of my outs by having the straight flush draw.
Looking for more constructive critism on my thought process' please. |

Re: 10nl Really weird flop spot
Fold. Villain isn't doing this with a hand you beat except maybe the J with the K of hearts or JQ. I expect to see made straights, flushes, and sets much more often.

"If i am assuming someone probably has a flush here..."
Why are you doing that? You have the Ace of hearts. The Jack and Ten are on the table. That leaves the Q and K as the ones left you're likely to see. Do you think someone went in preflop on this hand with Q8s? K4s? I don't understand what process is leading to the assumption that someone has 2 hearts, since we see almost all the playable hearts out there already. "or even a flush draw..." Then you are way ahead. "they can take away 2 more of my outs by having the straight flush draw." Yes, straight flushes are so rare. It's hard to play scared of them. You WANT people on the draw, your flush draw is way ahead of any other. The only thing you don't want is a made flush, or straight, but since A,J,T of hearts is all on the board...I don't know what heart-heart hands you're worried about. That's how I'm seeing this hand. I want to know if this is off. |

Re: 10nl Really weird flop spot
Need reads. If I think that SB &/or BB will come along then its an easy call or if I know that UTG is very laggy then its an easy call. Without those reads its a fold - UTG could easily be ahead (he can't have the NFD so a strong hand that is scared of the flush is likely) and you aren't getting the pot odds to draw.
