Thanks...One of my friends was like "you have to call, you have to call, how could u fold trips?" Thanks for the clarification esp using EV.

*and I agree that early in tournaments this would also be the correct move.

btw...i accidentially posted this on the "home games" board first and there was universal agreement from the players that this was "an easy call" (at least among 3 people there)

lmao. whats wrong with limping with J4 here? (not that i would do it all the time, but if you haven't gotten any opportunities to play anything in a couple of hours and you're getting a free limp...why not? )

The fact that big blind and small blind limped...would u feel that you are that much of an underdog preflop?

All of saying is its not the best choice to limp with J4 here but its not the worse thing either.

it actually is the worst thing, because you've gotten very lucky and flopped trips, and you still don't know what to do.

not really, you know you have position advantage the entire hand and i DID know what to do in that situation, which is to fold. rofl.
