Default question about new toyota fj cruiser

it has a plug in it, do you think its okay if i plug an x-box plus my monitor into it using a two to one adaptor (ie car won't blow up)?

don't forget a surge protector so you can plug in your surround sound, popcorn popper, ice maker, and pump for blow up girlfriend.

The car won't blow up, but you might damage what you plug into it. I'm sure your owner's manual has current/power ratings for the outlet. Cheap DC-AC inverters are notorious for supplying bad power (a triangulare wave instead of a sinusoidal wave), I'd like to think Toyota used a decent one in the fj cruiser, but I really have no idea.

thanks - makes sense - went to the skins steelers preseason game tongiht - didnt chance it but got me thinking that it would be a sick tailgate w/ xbox madden 08 maybe i'll figure i tout by miami first home game...

What you need to do is make sure the inverter has more than enough watts to support what your plugging in.
