Default Odds calls in SNG\'s

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (5 handed)

UTG (t980)
MP (t9320)
Button (t4600)
SB (t2150)
Hero (t2950)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]], 2[[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]].
UTG pushes [t980] , [3 folds], Hero calls t580.

Pot is offering us odds of 2.7/1, we are probably 2/1 against villans range. Is this a standard call or should we fold because losing that 580 would really hurt?

I think the value of seeing a few more hands here overcomes
the weak hand despite proper odds.

Calling and losing doesn't really affect your situation at all.

Calling and winning gives you a healthier stack.

Therefore calling >>> folding.
