Default $20 oop with a two-way hand on the turn

no hud, no reads. i'd been at the table a bit and should have a fairly aggro image (i ran 26/20 across the whole session).

hand converted by the iPoker Converter

Button nene71 ($20.02)
SB anthoclubber ($9.10)
BB pepieo69 ($9.24)
UTG deemarco ($4.11)
UTG+1 cvk13 ($17.15)
CO hero ($20)

Preflop: hero is in the CO with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
deemarco calls 0.20, cvk13 calls 0.20, hero raises to 1, nene71 calls 1, 2 folds, deemarco calls 0.80, 1 fold.

Flop (3.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
deemarco checks, hero bets 2.75, nene71 calls 2.75, 1 fold.

Turn (9.00) Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
hero ? ($16.25 behind)

tell me whether you bet or check here and why. if you bet, what's a good bet size? what is your plan for the hand?

What hands that called the flop are you now ahead of? What hands that you are behind will you fold out with a bet?

I would say the answer to the first is: very few. Those that you are beating (e.g. AT) will very probably fold if you bet, and check behind if you check (i.e they won't try to bluff you because they'd rather get to showdown.)

As for the second, AJ probably, another KJ, maybe KQ. Then you have to ask whether he'd fold two pair hands. I generally wouldn't count on it, at least not for one barrel, especially as you're not that likely to be packing a nine.

The annoying thing is that you've got up to 13 outs, of varying degrees of cleanliness. But given that most bet sizes will commit you and your remaining 75bb, I think you'll just have to let them go.

So check, and fold to anything more than 1/2 pot would be my plan. Quite a tough one though.

Check and hope he doesn't bet enough to protect his hand
