Default Sportsbook whoring?

I couldn't find anything on the search, please link me if this has already been discussed (I assumed it would have).

I've seen sign-up bonuses for a total of around $10k on various internet bookies. The play-through usually seems around 3x the bonus + deposit. Since a payout of around 93% seems common (assuming I have no ability to pick resulst), then:

deposit $50K for $10k bonuses, play through $180k @ 93% payout losing $12600. So, unless I'm missing something, these bonuses are -EV unless you have an edge with picking your bets. I also assume this is unlike casino whoring where it's pretty difficult to (eventually) come out with a profit.

Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm a complete sportsbook noob.

Just following solid posters of this forum will make you much better than 93%.
On the other hand it takes some (minimal effort), it is not like casino whoring on baccarat.

If you could pick winners at -110 juice (standard) 50% of the time like a monkey, you would only lose $5 on every $110 wagered. If you wagered $180k, you should lose a little over 8k.

1) Kelly bet 20% of BR on anti-BSP picks.
2) Win bets
3) Profit

How I did it-

1) Sign up at two books

2) Find that has the same line, but one has Team A even and the other has team B even. Example--

Book One
GB +3 EV
Denver -3 -120

Book 2
GB +3 -120
Denver -3 EV

3) Bet all of your money on opposite sides. You now have double the bonus money on one site with a big chunk of the WR finished.

Halftime Lines are decent for this.

Be very careful. You are much more likely to end up holding the bag on halftime lines since A. they move a lot more, and B. They get taken down quickly when you may not be expecting it.

Yeah, arbing is great until (a) you screw it upa nd bet the same side, (b) the line moves or you can't get the bet in and get exposed on one side, (c) the site sees you as a "steam" bettor and revokes your bonus after you have wagered.

When done right you can make money, but it's harder than it sounds and often time consuming.
