Default Brunson/Tomko Open

It was interesting to see this 3-man scramble with gamblers rules. I was suprised at how bad some of the swings were especially for guys who comment about their passion for golf and time spent practicing.

Why doesn't hellmuth use longer clubs? His swing was awful

I also thought Tomko's swing would be better with him being a former club pro (right?)

Hellmuth was painful to watch, yeah he needs longer clubs.

Negreanu's swing looks decent, but jesus it looks like he only drives it 150 yards.

What's the deal with the yardage? They were claiming PWs from 160.

So essentially, Doyle, Dewey and Vince won 333k each?

I haven't seen this, just caught word of mouth that they won 2 mil and the other 2 teams won a mil. each. Did I hear correctly?

Correct.

"Million per hole" was misleading because there was no carryover on ties.

O.k., just watched it.

I'd give it about a 6 out of 10. Nothing too exciting, but it wasn't too boring either. I'll definitely watch next week's episode and any others they produce in the future.

Daniel and Phil are just plain awful at golf (though they both had their shots).

Carry-overs would be sweet, but expensive obviously.

How many times do you think Negranau blinked his eyes during the 9 holes?

Good or bad, I'm upset that ESPN isn't re-running the hell out of this like they do every other show. I missed it.
