Not really because you're clearly not maximizing your +EV by starting tomlinson

does anyone have confirmation from bodog that a tie for the record is a win and not a push?

They added one for Peterson breaking Dickerson's TD record (18) and an over/under 15.5 for his total rushing TDs.

I maxed the No on > 18 TDs at -200.

He has 8 rushing TDs currently, so if the 15.5 is accurate, there is an average of 7.5 more TDs he will score this year. He needs to score 11 more TDs to break the record. Using Poisson this gives a 13.78% chance, so the No is substantially +EV. I personally think that 15.5 is a little high, which would make the edge here even larger. The juice for the over/under agrees - the over 15.5 is currently -105 and the under is -135.

The No has already moved to -300

I haven't asked them but it clearly says "break the single season record" so tying the record should be a win for the No bet.

Thank you for contacting the Bodog Sports Department.

If Adrian Peterson scores exactly 18 touchdowns then the wager would be settled as "No" since he did not break the touchdown record.

If you should require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at 1-866-591-0083 or sports@bodoglife.com

Will the lucky SOB who drafted Adrian Peterson win your fantasy football league?

Yes
-1000

No
+800

[/ QUOTE ]

Tom Brady?

100,833 and counting

[/ QUOTE ]

Or you could be like the guy in our league who has them both.

And Peyton.

I keep trying to trade with him and then realize it's like trying to buy a birthday gift for Bill Gates.

I hit no for both before the prop apparently was taken down, ( just for me? Does Bodog software do that now?). He'd have to average almost 100 yds a game for the first prop, and like 131 for 2nd. Taylor still gets ok amount of carries, and people aren't exactly scared of Minny's passing game. Wasn't Castillo out for SD which severely weakened that line too? I don't have the capability of a full analysis, but I like the chances of him not getting at least the 2105, which pays for my other bet, which I happen to like anyways too.

A funny thing (to me) I noticed about this to tho was that he has like 3-4 runs over 65 yards this season for TD, and I seem to remember the only other rookie ever to do that was Michael Bennett..of the Minnesota Vikings.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, his season to date average is 129.5 yards per game and he does get to face the Bears, the team that allowed him to rush for 224 yards, again this season.

This is the logic that causes people to bet the over.
