This is nothing dude. Get a lawyer, it'll cost you like $750 (or more, but not too much more) and get it over with. Explain yourself to your lawyer and he will take care of it. I'm in a worse boat now and having a lawyer makes 1,000,000,000 times the difference.
Nothing will come of this except possibly a fine and some court fees as long as you do it right.

Florida is not a state renown for it's liberal politics, now is it? - Fairly apolitical environment, trying too hard to survive to be worried about that [censored]. I did find out quite late in life that both of my parents have a conservative slant in their personal views. - Parents so poor that during my childhood, we didn't always have electricity. Or a phone.
