Full tilt sound problem

Yes, this is getting to be a mess....

I am currently researching (dell forums & other places) on how easy it is to install a new card in the dell insp. 9300.

I think I may heed yr earlier advice and just put in a new card if it is feasible. On a desktop, no problem; but sometimes laptops are more delicate and mechanically entangled.

ps. As far as Toaster Oven's point about DirectX, that was what Full Tilt support recommended originally and I have already updated that.

So thanks everybody for the advice.

Long story short: I am screwed and need a new sound card.
