Default Funny Accent

If you had a funny accent, would you be more or less likely to vote for Mitt Romney after tonight?

I think people from Mass. have a funny accent. However, Romney is not originally from there, so he gets a pass. It was a poor choice of words, but everyone knew what he meant, so I doubt many will hold that against him...especially when there are so many other things to hold against him.

I didn't think much of the comment, and might not even know what this OP was referring to if someone I was watching with didn't react to it. I thought it was pretty clear that he was just trying to express how absurd Giuliani's criticism was.

Not the best choice of words since one can speculate people might dwell on it, but I thought it was obvious that he was just trying to say there was no way he could have known anyone was illegal.

People will take offense to anything though.

Wow! Lets be objective here! Don't you think Bush's accent is funny? To me he sounds like he has either two tongues, or at least a forked tongue, in his mouth. By the way I find his body language hilarious too, like really lacking in self-esteem and confidence. It was one of the first thing I noticed in his presidency.. here was a dude, that really could not take himself seriously. He has improved somewhat since the early days, but it still is only a big act, except when he gets some re-assurance by holding hand with richer people than himself!

Midge, If there is only one thing that we could agree on it is that everything about Bush is goofy.
