For the most part I agree with you.

However, I would like to put a note of caution that there is always a certain risk involved with any transfer. Even date of registration, high post count, and lots of references do not guarantee anything - although these will certainly better your odds of an honest trade.

The greatest advice from the original post of this thread is probably this:

"You should transfer only in amounts that you are prepared to lose. Transfer in a number of small amounts if the total amount you need is more than you are prepared to risk losing."

Hmm Thats strange as he posts a decent amount in the strat forums if its the same person i'm thinking of. Not taking any sides here, just find it very unlikely for someone racking up over 1k posts including posting hands and stuff to just come out and scam someone for 530.
