I really don't get why your calling the flop there and then folding to a blank on the turn..probably shove/fold turn here depending on villain(?)

I'd just fold the checkraised flop. You didn't hit anything and it's very likely one of the other players did. He mostly has a set and wasn't an experienced enough player (NL20) to bet it out to weed out the draws. If he does have a hand (2 pair or better) you have 2 outs so you can't even call for implied odds.

Your bet was strong enough that I think he's very rarely trying to bluff you off a good hand.

Would probably agree here check/raise is usually very strong here

Do you ever call flop and bet turn if checked/fold if raised here??

I'd never fold here. His check/raise isn't as strong as it seems because he's seen the other two players fold already. He has a really wide range when he c/r the flop, most of which we're ahead of; I think he has a pair and a straight draw (78, 89, T9) or some sort of flush draw with overs often enough to justify putting our stack in here on the flop. There's also a chance that he's been getting tired of your cbets and just wants to bluff you off of a hand.

As played I'd shove the turn, you're still ahead of his range.

Flop I don't mind so long as you are going to shove a non-scare card turn. Scare cards == paired board and 58T

He'll show up with sets, 2 pairs and then 88, 89, 78 and other random9's

I think most of his range is made hands. If he wants to strong-arm a combo draw, why would the villain checkraise? He would lead out a bet instead. On a semibluff I don't see how he thinks he can push OP off his hand after making such a strong c-bet.

Even if he is on a combo draw he has a lot of outs and I think he's pushing all in by the end of the hand when the OP has not hit anything. If you play the hand past the flop you might as well push right then. This is way too much money for this board so that's another reason I fold the c/r flop.

shove the flop, he could very easily have an 8 with another pr, as he could have 2pr or a set/straight.

don't call the flop to fold this turn...do you really expect him to check here?
