Default Re: Other countries and advanced statistical metrics

I'm watching a German stream of the Tor/Bos game. During the game, they flash stats on the bottom of the screen. Instead of typical X for Y shooting for Z percent, they showed Adjusted FG%. Now, I haven't watched a ton of NBA games in the past few years, but I have to imagine this isn't standard here in the states yet.

Regardless, it got me thinking about and I'm wondering if anyone in Europe has any input.

We only just started getting stuff like "passes completed" in soccer in the last few years.
Having defense adjusted passes over replacement is about 10,000 years away as our fans are too busy hitting each other with sticks to be able to understand anything like that.

Why hello Miss Lorinda,

Joking aside, never mind being able to understand it, who cares? Surely the only statistic worth reading is the match scoreline. I guess fantasy leagues have changed all that.
