A good start would be to show that you have some semblance of skill at the poker table. Maybe contribute something to the forum?

An even better one would be to not make your first post on the topic of getting a fake ID for atlantic city... Oops.

An even better one would be to not ask questions that are obviously really requests. Honesty works best. If you said "Hey dudes I'm 18 and want a stake" it would go over a lot better than what you just posted.

There are alot of people around these parts who will stake good players, but nobody in their right mind is going to give a stake to somebody with 6 posts who hasn't so much as mentioned poker strategy on the boards.

On that note... Try the bank? Student line of credit? Who knows.

wana know what im capable of? playing heads up for 1 month and dominating it to the point where im sitting with Marco Traniello and being the first 1 to bust him HU after a 5 player wait list. Next time i played HU seriously was on stars. played 3 HU $20 doller tourneys consisting of 200 players with in a week and placing 4th and 3rd back to back. Then entering a HU limit tourney by accident and placing top 5 all with in the same week. sit down with me heads up. play money, real money (if u wana stake me), what ever and ill show u im not a chump.

You are obviously so good you don't need staking. Just do the same again and use your winnings to destroy the poker world and keep all your winnings yourself.

OP, the funny thing about staking is that when you are actually "ready" to be staked, meaning someone will stake you, you will understand enough to realize staking is generally not the best idea.

Players will stake you when they believe you have a good chance of winning. If you have a good chance of winning a tourney or beating a cash game, why would you ever want to give up a piece of your action, instead of keeping it all for yourself?

Selling action for small stakes is never a good idea.
