saying you should *always* make one play is wrong, because there are infinite situations in the game of unlimited hold them poker.

That being said, I am 3 betting jj from the blinds against a button raiser all day.

my line is also bet/fold on this texture flop

I hate that donkbet too. It's turning your hand into a bluff, and it isn't even a very good bluff because aggressive villains can raise you with air here.


And I 3-bet preflop, but I agree you don't have to do it every time.

I think most of us are saying 3 bet pf and then bet out as the 3 bettor

yes, as he said, betting out. I probably overstated by saying you want to 3bet w/ jacks 100% of the time. Obviously, depends on villian, table image, etc... more accurate to say it's a good idea the vast majority of the time. As I said earlier, you're losing value by not doing so.
