villain and i have had few showdowns but lots of aggression between us. 3betting/4betting but we've both been relatively in line and folding mostly. he instachecked turn and instabet river.

I like a bigger 4bet than this, this sizes leaves you open to getting called by some hands that'll play optimally postflop, plus it always sucks to have QQ and chips behind when the nasty flop like that comes.
as played i bet flop weak-like and expect him to play pretty straightforwardly. if i check, i c/f. And i think you're behind here often enough that c/f is fine. just take it into account later that you did such a thing, and he doesnt know what with. river I think is probably a call, if you called flop and this was the rest of the action. just doesnt smell like a better hand. |
