NL100 - Is this why we don't play trash hands oop?

Not sure what to think of this hand. Against a 27/20 (at the time) I’d toss this more often than not oop, however limper was a 33/0 showdown monkey who I was sure would come along.

In retrospect, I think I should have c/c the turn, or at the very least, b/f as I look reasonably strong and can probably safely toss this one.

Thoughts / Comments everywhere are appreciated.

I probably check to him on the turn, what do you expect him to call with that you're ahead of?

I think when he raises turn you gotta fold.. you pretty much answered it in your OP.

As played I think you have to fold the turn unless you have seen villain get out of line.

I think the turn bet is fine since UTG donk will give you action with worse K's and flush draws.

I really like folding the turn. He would have bet a pocket pair like 88-JJ on the flop. It looks like he hit a set and figured you guys probably hit nothing on that ragged board, so was just waiting for a big card to fall before he put some money in the pot. Which is exactly what happened.

op, pf is meh. I dont mind it given the fact that utg is a donkey. Turn bet is fine (to those saying, what worse is that tag going to call with - well we arent vb against the tag.) turn is wierd, the only hand that beats you that makes sense is AK. I think this looks alot like a draw, but i think folding is good w/o better reads. Although, i dont mind calling turn and river because he looks pretty full of it.

If limper is really a monkey then I think this is ok, I fold now. It's not often a draw, that small raise on the turn, and when it is I expect a smaller bluff on the river more often than not. Not saying you're never getting bluffed here but I still fold.
