Default Value bet the river AJ on bad river card 1/2NL

The villian is a little bit fishy I seen him call with 2nd pair couple times and he is pretty passive I saw him slowplay top 2 pair till river.

Im always thinking is that a good spot to value bet.

Not much hands would call me exept KJ probably if he was calling with QJ or Q10 I am beat

If he was on the flush draw I think checking is better to induce bluff.

What do you guys think?

Did I take good line?

Am I missing something? Where would you check to induce a bluff? You are last to act. If you checked, the hand would be over.

As for worrying about a C/R, villain has about $65 left (1/2 pot). Our value bet would most likely put him all in.

I think I like checking. What hand calls here that we beat?

If you've seen him call w 2nd pair before go ahead and value bet this river...basically means push him in.

Exactly I was thinking what hand can call 40$+ which I beat? only KJ QJ beats me Q10 beats too and he wouldnt call if he has like A9 TT or 88.

So do you think checking behind was optimal?

Regarding inducing bluff I thought I was 1st to act... my bad
