Well, I'm sure you can make at least 3.5PTBB/100, so moving up is at least a wash relative to 7PTBB/100 at the lower level.

So, take a shot as soon as you have the BR.

[/ QUOTE ]

well there is more to it than that

increased vpp/rb at the higher level, also its likely better for longterm improvement to play at the higher level

downsides being a 3.5ptbb winner will have more swings than a 7ptbb winner, both in $ and raw buyins

I also made another post in a thread explaining how im not paying him because of his situation with my university.

And most of these hands i put in over the past few days so im not trying to "pull a fast one" on bbv4life or full ring. I really only have gotten my game together recently, and had one really drunk coin flipping session (Im really not like that normally, but i just get aggressive when im drunk.)

Anyway back to the thread, is it normal to have your bb/100 cut in half as you move up ? It seems kind of counter intuitive.

He is saying he's lost two big pots at 50NL.

1) Set over set

2) AI pf with AA against another hand that sucked out

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh I see. I read that he lost with AA AIPF to a set over set.

Reading comprehension, FTL!

I played vs you on nl50, I really think you can burn the limit. Is it going well?
I saw that players at nl50 doesn't min-raise as much as nl25..except that they are all mediocre except rounders, some are kinda tough.

I moved up less than a month ago and saw basically no difference in my PTBB. Its still the same game with a few more regulars and the players arent quite as passive and the donks arent quite as donkish

its still the same game.

Im currently in the same boat as you are. Im moving up to NL100 and so far ive gotten stacked on the flop three times in an incredibly short period of time (and I was behind each time too, yuck). But I think you just need to tough it out. Most of the difference between the levels is probably in our heads.

I officially moved up today, and it was going well. But then this guy at one of my tables was going ballistic and i decided to try to take it to him. Its tempting to post hands but no one cares anyway, but i lost some 100/200$ all in pf hands.

At least im winning at this level over the course of the night, i just wish my numbers on ptracker werent [censored] now so that i cant really see my win rate.
