Good fold. Double check-raises are usual a bad sign for your jacks here, and the ace on the river didnt help matters any.

Do you think he min check raises flop with flopped nutz? I can't imagine that. Although after seeing the hand, it sure seems like he's a complete retard. What does a min c/r on flop accomplish, it doesn't help in any real way to build a big enough pot to help him stack you. all it really does it help to make u very suspicious.

Pretty easy fold on river but still a good one, only person you call here is David Benyamine haha.

It sure smells like Ace Deuce to me.

I like a flop 3bet, there's a very good chance he puts you on a bluff

i considered that, but this commits me to the hand imo. for example i make it 6600 and he comes over the top again, lets say 15k. now i have to call and call an all-in on the turn too because i set this play up. i just didnt feel like stacking off 200bb with jacks there

I agree. Stinger, why would we ever be willing to stack off 200bb with JJ Here?

Although, I'm not sure if the second quote is optimal, I just know thats "usually what I do".. maybe a player dependent spot.

If we flop 3bet with the intention of looking like a bluff, don't we then HAVE to call a re-raise? If so, aren't we always way ahead or way behind, most likely being way behind when the money goes in?

There are some villains where I would be VERY happy to be getting ai on the flop here with 200bb, and there are some where that would be burning benjamins. I've never played with Barny before..
