10/20 in Windsor. AK flops top pair and faces a river donkbet.
10/20 NL in Windsor. Villain in this hand is Mike, for those that play in Windsor, he is in his 30s and has a lazy eye. He's a big time fish/calling station. He has like $4500 to start the hand, and I cover. My image is probably pretty tight, as I've been totally card dead. I've also been losing a lot on the night, not sure if that changes his perception of me. On to the hand:
Villain limps EP, 2 limpers, I raise AKo to like $120 from the cutoff. Mike and another limper call. Pot is $400ish. Flop A64 Rainbow Check, Check, I bet $300, Villain calls, other guy folds and Mike calls. He's pretty loose, so he could have a lot of hands here. 57, A6, A4, 45, 67, Ax, etc. Pot is $1000, turn card is 4, putting a second spade up. Villain checks, I bet $600, he calls. Pot is now $2200, river is T non-spade. Villain donks for $1000. I'm getting 3.2 to 1 to call. Call this? |

Don't fold to Mike, he's crazy. He didn't overbet the pot though, so he might actually have something this time.

If villain had checked the river, wouldn't you have bet 1k (or similar amount) anyway?

Re: 10/20 in Windsor. AK flops top pair and faces a river donkbet.
i know mike from playing in that game. and i think your hand is good almost always. He shows up with Ax a lot or a miss draw. if he had a 4 or A10 hed prolly stick it all in on the river.
p.s. from my experience playing with mike he is actually a pretty decent player, if your talkign abgout sleepy mike. he is definitely a winning regular in that game, even though the game is soft. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think Sleepy Mike is a different guy. They both happened to be in the game last night. The villain in this hand was rudely refered to as Crazy Eye Mike by someone while he was away from the table, because of his lazy eye. |

If villain had checked the river, wouldn't you have bet 1k (or similar amount) anyway? [/ QUOTE ] Sure I would have value bet against this opponent, but that doesnt' mean I automatically have to call. I have more information than if he had checked to me, since he bet the river. |
