Very nice. Im pretty 2+2 search savy but I know lots of people who cant use it for anything. Hopefully this gets stickied/FAQ linked so we can help the n00bs [/ QUOTE ] Or at least followed by instructions on how to save it in your personal "remind me" folder. Ok...I'll do it... click the little finger with a string around it at the bottom of any post you want to keep. It will be waiting for you under "My Home" |

Very nice post. Hopefully this will encourage people to search instead of making the 1000th "AA facing heat" post.

Advanced search at google [/ QUOTE ] Yep. It's nice of Pokey to post all that, but Google would be my recommendation. site:twoplustwo.com is your friend. |

Re: PSA: How to use 2+2\'s search engine.
Excellent and very useful post. I have one question though:
Is there any way to search for all post you have made, including those in threads created by others, without all the replies? If I enter my username in the Username search field, and -"Re:" in the Keyword search field, I will only find threads created by myself, and not replies I've made in threads created by others. If I don't enter -"Re:" I get replies by others in all threads I've been active in. Any way around this? Would be awesome to be able to find all posts I've made the last week and see if someone has replied to any of them. |
