Anyone Ever Hear of Tom "Stud" Franklin?

Hi, I'm trying to get some information on a Tom Franklin, nicknamed "Stud" Franklin who is supposed to be a very good poker player, and has won some events. I know there is a "Captain" Franklin (featured in Jesse May's Shut Up and Deal) and perhaps they are the same guy but I'm not sure.

"Stud" Franklin is supposed to have been a high school baseball coach for 25 years.

Appreciate if you could drop a quick note if you have heard of/played with him.

"Captain" Franklins name is Tom too.
Two Tom Franklins in poker world would be like twins from commedia de'll arte.
