Anyone Ever Hear of Tom "Stud" Franklin?

Thank you for the serious reply. Still would like some more definitiveness as to his relation with baseball. Perhaps hes really 70 but the person exaggerated and really he'd only been coaching for 10 years or 20 years.....This it the right track though.

I can see this is going to be difficult but I think its only a matter of a day or two (I hope) before someone can really give me the correct answer.

I found a Tom Franklin inducted into the Birmingham-Southern College Sports hall of fame for baseball in 2004.

edit: Not likely to be the poker player, nor OP's father. He is still a minister at the university.
