Default $115 HUSNG -- There\'s got to be value here, right? Wait wtf?

Early in the match. Villain has been raising from the SB 4x and 5x, which I've folded.

So this hand, I river a flush. He makes a healthy bet. I figure that my hand is pretty well disguised, so I make a raise. Then he pushes. Is my hand strong enough to call or is this an easy fold?

weird hand because i'd expect AQ/QQ or 3bet preflop, Ax to raise that drawy flop, and 55/33 to fold to the flop bet. So, could be he backdoored the flush too with KJs/KTs/etc that would call a flop bet. i think you see trips often enough to be good here, as people don't give credit for BD flushes alot of the time.

either he is stupid or he has at least an A here. I've played many people who would take his line with any A.

So unless you know otherwise for sure then probably call.

Call, this is trips enough of the time.

btw I don't like villain's line no matter what he has if he's doing this for value.

i think he is calling the flop on 55/33 anyway because you bet so small, which he most liekly reads as a weak cbet where he is a head, i doubt he shoves an ace here and A5 A3 play this the same. Other aces other than AK/AJ probably flat call the river. Only way calling is +ev is if he puts you on a bluff and would shove Ax.

I don't think this level of player commonly found at the 115s needs to "put you on a bluff" to shove Ax here.

Generally speaking, I like to see a bigger raise if you're going to make a thin value raise here, that way he's still calling with Ax and if he boats up he doesn't get too much more value out of the hand when you call his shove.

This is definitely a call. At least 75% of the time they have a naked ace.
