Default UB Support: I GIVE UP

So after UB decided to implement the BBJ I wrote them an email saying how displeased I am with their new burden on players. They responded slowly with some BS about how the BBJ is a great "promotion."

I sent them another email reminding them of my displeasure with the BBJ. I used some poker lingo and told them I felt it was a beat every time I am forced to contribute to their great "promotion." Their response (3 days later) was right on topic. Email below...

Dear xxxxx,

Thank you for contacting us.

We understand your concern about the bad beats you may have experienced at our tables. However, Ultimate Bet's software does not have extra setting or anything of the same sort that could alter the outcome of the game.

A third party audits our system; the company that ensures the fairness at our site is called Kahnawake Gaming Commission you can find more information at this link: (http://www.kahnawake.com/gamingcommission).

Also, please keep in mind that our site does not benefit from any players winning or losing on our poker tables. In fact, we would like all our players to win all the time and be happy on our tables, but that is obviously not possible. Poker is primarily a game of skill, but since luck is also involved, there will be times when you will get a bad run of cards. It is not possible for us to manipulate the outcome of the games, and even if it were, we would not indulge in any activities that would compromise our integrity.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you require further assistance or additional information.

Best regards,

Antonio

I wanted to restate how frustrated I am that bbj tables have infected your site. I will definitely play this site much less. You have forced some of your most valuable customers to leave in order to escape this increased rake. I consider it a bad beat everytime I must pay to contribute to the bad beat jackpot.

people still play above NL50 on UB? I wouldn't trust a $200 NL10 bankroll let alone a few thousand.

No. I'm trying to find out info. I have some money on UB, have never had any problems, and I'm trying to figure out if they have screwed people.

My favorite new error with UB is when I play more than 4 tables, the hole cards I get are blank.

This has to do with your computer and the amount of programs you are running at the same time along with the UB software -- next time this happens, try closing down a few program that might be taking up a lot of memory/RAM (maybe your internet browser, email program, any other large program that is running) and then re-open those tables -- I think you will that this does not become a problem anymore =)
