if it folds him out I got no problem adding 25% to the current stack...don't like check in case villian checks behind...I still say get it now while you got some equity.

I make it 250ish and obv calls if he shoves. I think an openshove here screams draw so I don't like that, nor do I like the c/r. With your stack you have no FE if you c/r,and if he checks as well...bleh. Betting might even make him fold a midpair here.

Bet flop, call shove.

Shove any turn.

There was a quote from Nath that breaks down this type of hand so well but I can't find it @ the moment...so let me xplain it this way:

Check + checkbehind + brick on the turn = b/cAI for hero...more often than not...but a little more dicey...I still perfer shove turn FWIW.

C/RAI = isn't too bad cause we want to play for stacks on this flop however you don't get to fold out the 1010-QQ, A10,AJ of the world with as much frequency since they have odds to call (depending on bet sizing).

Bet + call + diamond on turn = not sure but more often than not Hero gets no more chips from Villian.

Shove (again I stand by this has best option) accomplishes the following:

Maximizes our FE, and even if were called by say 1010-QQ we pick up an extra 3 outs...if your gonna B/3betAI or CRAI you might as well shove to make the easiest decision possible for Hero and the toughest one for Villian to make.

Hammy got any reads???

I'd check/raise this flop - with an open aggressor and an ace-high board we will see a bet here most often - either for value or a c-bet, so i think c/r is the best option for this flop-texture.

Stack sizes make CRAI definitely best. Open shoving is meh because you miss out on a lot of value when he doesn't have much & bet/folds. It does make you hand look a lot like a draw and he never ever folds an A to an open shove anyway.

I am very surprised that it is so obvious to everyone to shove, CRAI, call-shove in this spot. I have found that on small stakes MTTs it is almost never profitable to semi-bluff with a flush draw when there is an A or K on the flop. I would get called by ANY ace and lose 65% of the times.

Would you make the same play on a flop with two high cards? (You still have no pair, only flush draw)
