I think you could put maybe one more raise in and call a three-bet, but calling is good too.

Since I like to raise the turn most of the time when I have no pair on a board like this, it makes a lot of sense for me to balance that play by slowplaying my aces to the turn also. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

This hand reminds me a little of DD's video in the Deucescracked forum where he raised the river and got shown down two pair to lose...

i haven't watched the video.

but because he lost to two pair does that mean the river raise was incorrect?

No, but he talked about the player liking to donk-call and how players miss value by not raising on the end. He also talked about how he lost the hand and how unfortunate it is not to get rewarded because most of the time that raise is good.

A difference that may or may not matter... he was playing 15/30 6-max

hi guys, i felt like that river donk had to be a flush or some weirdass boat (although that's unlikely) enough of the time so that even raising the river wasn't right. i called and got shown kt of hearts. thanks for the replies.
