Default How to get unstuck: Have someone tell you their cards

In unlimited hold them, when your opponent knows your cards, it's easy for him to win. I was having a horrible session, not hitting any hands at all unless someone else had an even bigger hand. Until I joined a table with a player who didn't quite understand this principle.

I doubled up right after I sat down when I flopped a set vs. his TPTK. He then went on tilt and started raising every hand to $4 after announcing what his hole cards were. At first I just folded because I had complete trash and I wasn't sure whether to believe him, but after he showed a hand down where he said what he had, I started calling his raises with any two. It only took me two hands to take the rest of his money.

A guy was doing this at a table I was at once. He was trying to convince his wife that he was playing play money, because he wasn't allowed to gamble real money. It was very profitable.

Regards, Punter
