Any runners here use Galloway method?
I'm curious. Getting back into running after sporadic few months and tried this run/walk method with great success this weekend. 10mi @ 8:53 pace by doing 5 min run + 1 min walk. Supposedly a good method (run and walk intervals vary based on fitness level / goals / distances) to help you improve endurance and improve recovery time.

Galloway is perfect for recreational runners or people trying to lose weight.

It gets badmouthed a lot by the no-pain, no-gain crowd, but I've found it a good way to work back into running after layoffs. The thing is, if you just go out and run, you're probably going to be pretty sore for a few days. With the run-walk-run thing, you get very little soreness.
