Default Tough Spot with Kings against a LAG

Sorry for the lack of conversion - I'm not sure why, but no converters have been working properly with UB for me lately (it's odd, it's hit and miss, I tried FTR, Lego, BBGV - help?).

Effective stacks 110BB

Villain is 60/30 over around 80 hands. I feel strongly that he's not a fish though, as he seems to play well postflop and is kind of running over a couple nits - he's definitely willing to move some chips around.

My image must be very nitty and weak, as I happen to be running cold at that table (probably 11/9 thus far).

Preflop:

Villain minraises to 2 UTG+1, Button calls, Hero raises to 8 from the blinds, Villain calls, Button folds. Heads up to the flop.

I had seen him minraise before, but it's not standard. That hand didn't make it showdown so I don't know what it means really.

Flop ($18): 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero leads for 15, villain flat calls.

I must seem pretty nitty to him, so I think he's got something here - a bit unsure where I'm at though.

Turn ($48): A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Yuck. Hero ???

raise pot preflop

i'd rather bet turn and try to end the hand there than try to extract maximum value OOP

How wide do you think his range is here after the flop call?

raise more preflop

bet the turn and just hope you win the pot. if he raises/calls, gg. unless you hit a T, maybe K.

reason i like a turn bet is because we dont want to have to check call an aggressive villain down here on this board. sure, it allows him to fold Qx, Jx, etc. sure we are basically bluffing but our hand is still good alot here and we are going to not only win the pot alot, we dont ever have a tough choice on the turn or river.

do the opposite of what w33ktight said.

(no offense, but that advice lives up to its author's name)

I would have tried to raise more preflop. I wouldn't want to give him a cheapish flop oop.

This turn sucks. QQ, JJ, AQ, AK, QJ, AJ are all very possible.

If he bets turn wouldn't he be committed ike?

cf kinda sucks, but looks like the best play to me. However, in the heat of battle I may bet around $30 and fold to a raise and cf river.

Yah I was pretty concerned about flop calling hands like KTs, AJ, AQ taking the lead. The trouble I have here is that when I bet, if I get called I'll be getting 3:1 on a river call (still foldable tho I suppose). I can't see any worse hands calling a bet here, and I don't see any better hands folding. I don't want to get blown off, but this board has to be scary for him to bluff at me on given my present nittiness.
