I think $2 or $3 is typical. The thing about letting her keep the $20 on a $15 haircut is it conditions them. If you keep going there, then you look like an ass the next time you don't tip $5, or that you weren't satisfied.

pretty much how i roll. my cuts cost $14 and i give the dude a $20.

1. Search OOT on tips and tipping
2. No, $2 was the standard tip when they cost $9. Now that you're an adult, you should be tipping around $5.
3. Stop going to Supercuts and start going some place nicer. Get one stylist and stick with her.

Haircut costs 10, i tip atleast 5 or better depending on time of year holidays etc... easter thanksgiving chrismtas new years i tip 7-10$

guy does a good job takes his time (atleast double what he takes on others) uses fresh razors cleans me up real good because he knows i tip well. if i come late and hes closing up he still cuts me even if its a blizzard.
