This is why I hate check raising...
Convertor is not working for me presently, apologies for the format.
Villain is 20/18/5 and a regular I've seen around. Very aggressive, good player. Table is 4 handed, and it's all TAGs I've seen around - lots of 3 betting and the like going on. Villain has $130, I cover - 100NL. Villain opens UTG (it's 4 handed mind you) for the standard 3.50, button cold calls, I'm in the BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I elect to just call. Flop comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I don't want to blow them off their hands, and I know villain will autobet when checked to here in this situation, so I decide to c/r. Thoughts? I check, villain bets 8.50, button folds, I raise to 29, villain calls. Well that's not exactly what I expected. Turn falls 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. So, what do we do here? b/f? c/f? c/c? |

Re: This is why I hate check raising...
If I c/c flop, what do I do on a club turn? Ace turn? Brick?
c/c the 2nd barrel (on all these?), lead ever? |
