5/10: value?
Too thin vs an unknown? What about 200/call a shove?

Re: 5/10: value?
good bet, i dont think 200 call a hove is good here as i havent seen the kind of aggression in these games that warrants lines like that vs unknowns.
edit: maybe even a little smaller |

Re: 5/10: value?
sometimes i will check behind here however i cant see him having an 8 here so i think you are in the lead. Sets/ two pair/ straights will raise either flop or turn. I personally put him busted flush draw or JTd
from what i'v seen playing 5/10, 200/call a shove won't work often enough for it to be profitable. |

Re: 5/10: value?
I'm not clear what you beat that he can call with that he didn't raise with pre? JT seem like about it. Am I missing something?

Vs someone who open- limp/calls the cutoff im assuming they are bad/stationy and letting them decide what they can call with. Lots of hands can put melon on AdX/KdX and call here. |

Re: 5/10: value?
Thanks.
So, JT, J9, QT, Q9, TT maybe, 99 maybe. |

Re: 5/10: value?
right, also keep in mind that villain rarely has us beat when he gets there like this.

Re: 5/10: value?
Thanks again. So he has to have something like 9d8, Td8 or Jd8 + the occasional super slow played monster to beat us. Our loss is capped, so it's less of a concern. Add this up and we get a thin value bet.

Re: 5/10: value?
I've only played about 2000 hands at 5/10 so I'm not really qualified to critique. Having said that, $290 (and especially $390) seems to turn hero's hand into a total bluff against anyone with a pulse. Unknown usually = donk, and donks will sometimes call with less, but we don't know for sure if villain sucks. And if villain got to this point with AQ+, he aint folding for $290 or $390. Seems to me checking is better.
Please to explain why I'm wrong Rent. |
