400: I set it up, got the read, but don\'t have the balls.
Effective stack are 150x
I have 22 UTG and make it 3.5x CO who's good and I beleive respects my game makes it 13x. Folds to me, and I call. Flop is KQ3r. I check, he checks. Turn is a 4, I check, he checks. River is a Jack. I type in "How scared are your Aces right now?" (I chat during hands very often...) Anyone have the balls to push? |

Not me, unfortunately...
Do you really give him AA BTW, wouldn't he bet those again on the flop or at least on the turn? |

How much do you think a good player will call with AA here after exercising this much pot control?
Edit: btw (and villian probably doesn't know this yet) I will overpush a pot like this with some frequency with different types of hands. |

Re: 400: I set it up, got the read, but don\'t have the balls.
btw GM: Matt Flynn answered a couple questions for me around the overpush idea and had some interesting thoughts to add.
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...=0#Post11804009 I put the question in at like post #4 there. He responded somewhere later. Villain in the hand I posted had 77...I know because I called |

If someone said this to me in that situation and they pushed i would instantly think they were bluffing.

If he respects your game, and you respect his, he could be 3/betting in the CO with a large variety of hands. and shoving into this spot seems pretty spewey. is it a hand even worth fighting for? obv you have zero SD value, but if you were going to push him off 88+ you needed to bet turn and river at the min. |

Edit: btw, I called 2 other hands correctly before this and played accordingly...whether or not he's paying attention to that idk. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think he 3bets my UTG raise here much at all. The table we were at, there wasn't much room for raising 56s UTG and so forth. I'd say he'd call JJ (I'm not sure about QQ or AK tho) Thing is, he'd bet AK and QQ on the flop (and AQ if he'd 3 bet me with that, which I doubt)...and I would assume cbet JJ as well as he can play his hand easily from there. |
