Default 25NL - 56s on the button rivers straight

Reads - Villan is 36/2/1.5 over 50 hands, I have a note on him "callstation" but thats all.
Table is quite loose in general.

Comments on all streets - thanks.

Definitely call the river.

You have the nut straight. You beat 5x (including 55 and A5), 66+, A6+. I think 22 is a real possibility, not to mention the other full houses. I don't think there's value in a raise here, not the least of which because you can't call a 3-bet, but also because you won't get a call that often from a hand you beat (just a badly played AK or AQ or something). But, even for the overbet, I can't fold this hand.

Thanks, I never really considered folding.
Question was to just call or raise since I think he could call with a lot of aces (or any 5) and I have most of the aces beat.

Also how was my line up until the river, OK or too passive?

Personally after the flop came up paired I'm pretty easy to push off these hands that might be drawing dead against a full boat, so I think passive is the right path with a hand like this and a flop like this.

I might venture a push on the river. I think he'll call with alot of worse hands and it's not much more money...

You probably could have tried a bet since everyone checked to you on the flop, but it's a matter of style. Against 4 people it's not all that likely to work, so the whole passive thing might be better, espec. since people love to slowplay at micros and so you never know if your up against trip aces.

In position I would consider raising this up preflop, unless villain is particularly good, which this one is not. This puts you in position to take it down preflop or on the flop with a c-bet without having to see showdown, and with the SCs you have a lot of ways to hit the flop if you don't get the fold.

As played I would take a shot at the flop when it was checked to all the way around. Again, you have a good shot at a fold, and a lot of outs if you don't get it. I don't have a problem with taking a free card though with this many opponents and a paired board.

If I got heads up with MP3 after a PFR I would check behind on the flop and pray for a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Since he's a calling station you don't have much FE and that makes a semi-bluff -EV, and, now that you have a real draw, you can expect some payoff when you hit against a station.

I raise preflop against a lot of villains, but I don't usually against a calling station like that.
I raise the fiver - that smells like a "slowplayed" Ax to me...

Raise the river. You are more often gaining equity from Ax, non FH, than you are losing it from FH's.

Your calling to hit this so you have to raise or your not getting the value needed to make this worthwhile.
