Default Gazeebo hand (warning, made hand!); 50NL

Villain is loose semi-stack. This is just a bet sizing question. Am I better off doing this, or going for a value raise?

against bad opponents I like shoving in these spots. If they call a decent raise they are probably calling allin

I feel like shoving basically folds out everything except chops (or the rare 66 or J7) If he's that bad if we value raise who knows he may look us up with A high.

Pushing folds anything besides something that beats you or chops.

A value raise here gets calls from a 6, middle pocket pair, or even A-high.

You guys think a loose semi-stack is folding a 6 here?

If the river didn't make a flush I'd hate it. I think a loose player is calling sometimes if he can beat a flush.

If he'd bet out 5 or 6 I'd like it better. This small bet seems like either a weak attempt at bluffing the flush card (which which case, he'll probably fold to any raise) or a weak lead trying to incite a raising war. Either way, I think value-raising will be more effective. If he's got nothing, he'll fold to either, but if he's weak-leading, we can let him hang himself, whereas a shove might scare him off.
