Default J7s River decision

Both players are slightly LAGish, 70/20/~1 3 handed stats over about 20 hands.

Poker Room skin
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $3/$6
3 players

Pre-flop: (3 players) Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Button calls, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3SB, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4.5BB, 3 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, Button calls, SB calls.

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (7.5BB, 3 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises</font>, SB folds, Hero?

Should I be more likely to call this river because its a blank?

Default Re: J7s River decision

looks like he slowplayed a monster and bluffing on that river seems strange, but with no reads I would call since the pot is decent and you close the pot. Don't expect to win it very often. I guess he had QT and wanted overcalls on turn.

If you knew he was a slowplaying guy you could check river.
