What do you think the c / r by this player means?

I would call and see a turncard.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think a cr means he has some piece of the flop but it isn't necessarily a monster. It could be as little as top pair or a small overpair. Like I said before, I've been a little bit weak tight so he may just be thinking he can push me around with a marginal holding expecting me to fold. Am I wrong to think he would be more likely to lead into me with a monster (set/2pr) ?

And the villain is the BB, not the button-183 bb's deep.

I like a call here, if we turn a K or A we can call the turn with a hand that may well stand up at the showdown and still have outs to the NF. Too deep to push, I don't really see him calling with a smallish overpair. And he didn't 3bet pf.

If you were 100bb deep it'd be an easy shove.

I agree that this is a super easy shove with only 100bb. Upon reflection I think calling is best. My brother is a winner at 2/4 and 3/6. As an alternative to calling he suggested that I make a raise to about 140 with the obvious intention of calling a shove (but not liking it greatly) as the way of exerting maximum pressure on villain. Thoughts?

Are you saying now that you know his hand, calling is best? I would love to have your hand vs villians any day.
Don't be result oriented, in this case, Push was +EV.
