Starcraft Broodwar 2+2 Tournament

Hi, there has been some discussion about a SC tournament but nobody has ever really taken the intiative, so I'll take a shot at it

My suggestion is:

It will be a Starcraft Broodwar (latest verson) tournament, 1on1. If people want to make it interresting we can have a "buy-in" of $1-$10 (I was thinking $10) where we send the $ on PokerStars to someone who everyone trust (I am trustworthy but I doubt anybody know me so I understand if you want somebody else to have the cash while the tournament playes out etc)

It will be played with the help of Hamachi (Internett LAN) because most people LAG on battle.net, and Hamachi is great!
The maps would be std maps who they use in Starcraft league (etc) (NO MONEYMAPS!)

If you have other suggestions please post them in this post. I will post the same tread in BBV4Life to increase interest.

And if you are interested please say it in this thread (just to see what the ineterrest are, no manditory registration etc)

will my not-legit cd key work for this tournament? cuz if so i am so there

i think i have two extra keys. my roomate gave me his and i bought it again when i left my cds at school over break a while back

I think it will work because if we use hamachi we will be playing on Lan, so we will not be running it through battle.net

Yes, that was the plan, to play it through the same day

Yea, this was the plan. Please spread the word so as many people as possible join this tournament.

And do you guys think we should have a "buy-in" or just play for fun? (ofc the buy in will not be so high so we do not play for fun, but if somebody use wallhack (if that still excist) just to win some $$$)
what is the perfect amount of players? 8? 16?

I'd like to play this too. I vote for free entry because it will make organizing the tournament easier.
